भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने क्यों चुना, कुरूक्षेत्र की भूमि को महाभारत युद्ध के लिए? Why Shri Krishna chose Kurushetra for Mahabharat?

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने क्यों चुना, कुरूक्षेत्र की भूमि को महाभारत युद्ध के लिए?  

जब महाभारत के युद्ध को टालना मुश्किल हो गया था तब भगवान श्री कृष्ण के ऊपर युद्ध भूमि का चुनाव करने का जिम्मा आ गया |

भगवान एसी भूमि चाहते थे ज़िसका इतिहास बहुत ही भयभीत और कठौर रहा हो | भगवान को चिंता थी की कहीं पांडव और कौरव एक दूसरे को मरते देख संधि न कर बेठें |

इसलिये ऐसी भूमि चुनी ज़हाँ क्रोध का इतिहास रहा हो | श्री कृष्ण जानते थे कि यह युद्ध धर्म के लिए लडा जा रहा है जहाँ दोनों ओर एक ही परिवार के लोग होंगें | यह युद्ध भाई-भाई, गुरू-शिष्य के बीच का है, इसलिये भगवान का विचार था कि कठौरता का भाव शिखर पर हो इसलिये भगवान ने अपने दूतों को हर दिशा में भेजा ताकि वे एेसी भूमि का पता लगा सकें |

पता लगाने पर दूत ने बताया कि एक स्थान है जहाँ बडे भाई ने छोटे भाई को खेत में बारिश के पानी को रोकने को कहा | परंतु छोटे भाई ने जवाब दिया की आप ही क्यों नहीं करते यह काम, मैं आपका गुलाम नहीं | ज़िसपर क्रोध होकर बडे भाई ने छोटे भाई को छुरे से मार दिया | उसके बाद उसकी लाश से पानी के बहाव को रोक दिया |

यह सुनकर श्री कृष्ण ने इस भूमि को उपयुक्त समझा | यह वही स्थान था जहाँ बडे बडे शूर वीरों का अंत हुआ | इस स्थान का नाम कुरूक्षेत्र था |

Why did Lord Krishna choose the land of Kurukshetra for the Mahabharata war?

When it was difficult to avoid the war of Mahabharata, the task of choosing the battle ground came upon Lord Krishna.
God wanted a land with a frightening and difficult history. God was worried that, seeing each other dying. the Pandavas and Kauravas should not stop the war.
Therefore, a lands was chosen with the history of Anger. Shri Krishna knew that this war was being fought for DHARMA in which there would be people from the same family on both sides. It was for the same reason, such land was important. God sent his messengers in every direction so that they could explore such land.
On finding out, the messenger told that in this place an elder brother asked his younger brother to stop the rain water in the field, but the younger brother replied, "why don't you do this work, I am not your slave". Angered by this reaction, the elder brother killed the younger brother with a knife and used the body to stop the flow of water
Hearing this, Shri Krishna considered this land suitable. This was the place where the great heroes came to an end. The name of this place was Kurukshetra.
